The Green Cacao Pod is a dining experience created by a 'twenty-something' foodie trio. When talking over a few cocktails, Douglas, Tina and Madelaine hatched an idea. With similar principles, they agreed to host a dinner for the 2012 Melbourne Food and Wine Festival.
With Melbourne in line to be the worlds next number one food destination, The Green Cacao Pod will highlight the new generation of talent. Their unpretentious approach is showcased in a menu eight courses long with matching cocktails.
The menu will be tailored to the season, sustainable ingredients will be called to attention and local produce will have primary focus. Each with different specialities the three ‘conventional renegades’ bring quality to a new culture.
